I live in a state that has no pride in itself. Talk to people in the Southwestern part of the state and they think Connecticut is an extension of New York City. Talk to people in in the Eastern Part of the State and they identify with Rhode Island while the Northern part of the state is an extension of the Springfield or Boston.

The time has come for this identification with other states to end.

WE ARE CONNECTICUT!

 We are the birthplace of the helicopter that we continue to build this day, including the helicopter carrying the President of the United States. We train the most elite submarine force in the world.

Connecticut is a state to be reckoned with. 

We are the financial capital of the modern era, home to the largest amount of hedge funds in the world , the largest hedge fun in the world by assets under management, and the two largest trading desks next across the street from each other. 

It's time for us to show the world that this state does kick some serious ass.
