Computer camps in Fairifield County -- Another barrier to entry for young developers

I have vivid memories of going to computer camp and working on building programs on my Vic20 at Camp Mahackeno.Looks like there are a few in the area: http://www.nccamp.com/locatn.htmlOne thing that grabbed me is the cost: 900 a week! Wow. That seems really high to me in terms of what is being taught. There has to be a better return on investment for education.  An example would be to look at the cost for a community college class over the summer…See More

I live in a state that has no pride in itself. Talk to people in the Southwestern part of the state and they think Connecticut is an extension of New York City.
